We purchased our penthouse apartment just after it had first been constructed in 2012, so had freedom of design regarding the kitchen. We were referred to KUBE Kitchens, an organization we had not heard of beforehand. On visiting their Dublin showrooms in Walkinstown and then in Sandyford we were astonished when we saw the extensive range of contemporary kitchens that were available. In particular the range included ultra-modern features we had not seen before (power doors, concealed extractor fans, Silestone worktops, curved gables and all NEFF appliances including induction hobs).
It got even better when we were introduced to David Fagan, KUBE's kitchen design consultant. David sourced our kitchen dimensions from our builder, patiently listened to us while we outlined the 'look' we sought to achieve and in a very short few days he produced detailed design plans and colour graphics of his suggestion, which he altered in real time as we finalized our contract. When we said we would like a bulkhead to be incorporated into the kitchen design in order to better frame the kitchen, it was instantly incorporated into the plans and graphics. David's vision, eye for detail and passion for his work made us feel at all times like his most important customer, though we are aware he has hundreds. Even more amazing was the final price, which we had expected to be much higher due to the quality of the inclusions.
And when we explained to David that we would be abroad when the kitchen was due to be installed, David offered to visit the apartment, to oversee installation of the kitchen and bulkhead and to update us with progress reports and photos.......all part of his service and at no extra cost!
In summary we received a superbly designed kitchen at an incredible price which included amazing features. We received an unbelievable service from David Fagan and everybody at KUBE kitchens and, in the future, would NEVER go anywhere else.
Our advice........if you are reading this you may currently be considering a new or refurbished kitchen.....immediately go to your nearest KUBE store. If you happen to be in Dublin, ask for David Fagan from whom you will receive a service beyond belief.
